Owner/Founder, Divine Events

Pam purchased the catering company, You Name It Events, in 2005 and Inventive Incentives in 2007. The two companies were consolidated as Divine Events in 2010 and this company has grown to be one of the top caterers in Southern Nevada.  In 2017, Pam and Divine were named to the Leading Caterers of America, a prestigious group of 56 caterers in all of the United States and Canada. 

Divine Events conducted approximately 600 events each year until 2014 when they were awarded the contract at the Springs Preserve where the Culinary Operation is now located and they now cater over 1500 events each year.  Pam and her team operate the 300 seat Café at Springs Preserve as well.  Divine is the preferred caterer at several other venues including Neon Museum, Meet Las Vegas, Mob Museum, Madame Toussaud’s, Maverick Helicopters, Area 15, Mansion54, The Doyle and several others including her own venue, Proprietor’s Reserve (PR) opening in July of 2019.

Pam, a Nevada Native, graduated from University of Nevada in Reno.  Prior to purchasing the catering company, Pam was executive in the Gaming industry.  During her 17-year career with gaming manufacturer IGT, Pam was responsible for planning meetings, trade shows, and customer events all over the world.   Catering and Event planning is her passion.

Pam worked for William Harrah right out of college and her career in the Slot Manufacturing business began at IGT 1981.  Her assignments ranged Financial Analyst, Director of Route and Casino Operations, Operations Manager-Video Lottery Division, Sales Operations Manager and finally, Director of Marketing Services.  Pam worked for Sodak Gaming, Mikohn Gaming and finally Bally Technologies as VP of Proprietary Games until she purchased the Catering Company.

Pam is married to Ken Howatt and has one grown daughter, Cassie, an Event Industry Executive as well and has a new Grandson, Graham.  Pam’s Son-in-Law, Sean Leibovici, is the Director of Logistics and Operations for Divine Events.  Pam’s 94 year old father, “Pop” works at the Café each day and is a very special part of the company.  Pam supports many charitable organizations that work with Children and Teens.

Independent Event Producer and Hospitality Instructor at TISOH

Lenny in an Independent Event Producer and Hospitality Instructor. He has previously served as the Executive Director of Events for MGM Resorts Event Productions, where he oversaw a team that services both internal and revenue generating projects for MGM Resorts International. He is well-known in the industry having produced events domestically and internationally for many Fortune 500 companies bringing his own mix of creativity and excitement along with his thoughtful attention to the details.  

His work has been recognized with multiple ILEA Esprit Awards and numerous Gala Awards thru Special Events Magazine. He is proud to have been a member of the team honored on two occasions as Event Company of the Year. 

His involvement in the event industry includes entertainment, production and event management. In addition to creating award winning event experiences his diverse career background includes positions with Entertainment Agencies, Cruise Lines, Destination Management Companies, Hotel, Casinos and even The Tonight Show. 

Lenny is among a select group of industry professionals to hold both the Certified Special Event Professional (CSEP) certification as well as the Certified Hospitality Educator (CHE) credential.   He served as president of the International Live Event Association (ILEA) Las Vegas chapter and participated on international ILEA committees.  The National Association of Catering and Events (NACE) have honored him for his leadership and service to the hospitality industry and he was named by Biz Bash Magazine as “One of the Most Innovative People in Events”.  

In addition to his work as an event producer, he is an instructor at The International School of Hospitality (TISOH) in Las Vegas leading the event design and production curriculum developing the next generation of event professionals.
