Barb Harris, CSEP, DMCP is known for her playful energy, dedication to greatness, and commitment to industry advancement. With nearly 15 years’ hospitality experience, her diverse background as a planner, client and supplier provides the unique perspective of always knowing what the “other side” needs to succeed, and the communication skills to bridge them together. She currently serves at the Vice President, Event Services for CTC Destination Management, the leading DMC in Chicago.
Barb has been an avid volunteer with ILEA since 2009, serving as the Chicago Chapter President twice from 2013 – 2015, and Regional Vice President for the Midwest from 2016 – 2018. She has received many awards and accolades from both local and international levels, including Top 25 Young Event Pros to Watch Globally by Special Events Magazine, 40 Under 40 by Connect Association, and the Illinois Meetings & Events Hall of Fame for Best Special Event Planner.
